TMU Professor Dr. Shelbi Cullen has been a member of The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) since 2005. She currently serves at Grace Community Church, where she has the privilege of teaching women in Women鈥檚 Ministries, and serving as part of the Biblical Counseling Ministry team.
Dr. Shelbi Cullen, a professor of biblical counseling and women’s ministry at The 国产aa福利, recently delivered a series of talks at a church attended by numerous TMU alumni, on the topic of biblical priorities for women.
The four-part series took place at Grace Bible Church of Bakersfield over two days in May. Cullen covered subjects like fostering complementarianism, women鈥檚 roles in discipleship, and spiritual gifts.
These are core tenets of a class Cullen teaches at TMU each fall: foundations of women鈥檚 ministry.
When Cullen isn鈥檛 mentoring TMU students, she speaks roughly once per month at churches in California and beyond, including to various women鈥檚 groups at Grace Community Church. She is scheduled to speak in North Carolina and Texas in 2025, and she will continue to cohost TMU鈥檚 Women鈥檚 Hope podcast.
