The Office of Career Services at The ����aa���� works with students and alumni to connect them with job opportunities and equip them with the tools they need to enter the workforce. At the end of this past semester, they received exciting news: The Rogers House, one of TMU’s Canyon Homes, had achieved 100% job placement. Every graduating senior in the house had secured employment related to their degrees.

Aaron Roidt, resident assistant of the Rogers House, accepted a position as a tax associate at Hedman Partners, a corporate sponsor of TMU, after interning with the firm for three years. Roidt encouraged other students to pursue internships early on to demonstrate interest in the field.

Peyton Ewing, a finance major, was hired as a financial planning associate at EP Wealth Advisors, where he will perform tax and risk analysis. He encouraged finance students to “maximize exposure to people and work outside of Master’s” and take advantage of new opportunities.

Jeffrey Evans, previously an intern with Career Services, will be starting as a due diligence officer at JRW Investments, another corporate sponsor of TMU. “Pursue any opportunity you have,” Evans said. “Go to as many events, networking opportunities, and one-on-one meetings as you can.”

Mathias Hasychak will continue with bookreport as a school finance intern, managing bank reconciliations and accounting operations for schools. He encouraged accounting majors to be prepared for failure, but to remain willing to step outside their comfort zone and develop new skills.

Andrew Truong will step into the role of marketing manager at GreyHawk Premier Insurance, where he will oversee the company’s podcast and social media pages. His advice to marketing media majors was to start building their portfolios early, as practical skills and work samples are valuable to employers.

Prince Abbey, a biology major, was hired as a biorepository technician at Massachusetts General Hospital, the teaching hospital of Harvard University. Prince emphasized the importance of showing genuine interest throughout the application and interview process.
